• Account Information via Slack: When you install Oliver in Slack, we receive certain details based on your permissions — such as your Slack display name, profile information, and workspace ID. This data is used to enable core functionality and personalize your experience.
• Onboarding Information: During onboarding via Slack or our website, you may be asked to provide details such as your job title, team size, management experience, and areas you’d like support in. This helps tailor the guidance you receive from Oliver.
• User Content: We collect the prompts, questions, and leadership scenarios you share with Oliver (“Content”) to generate coaching responses. This content is anonymized before being sent to Large Language Models (LLMs) and is not linked to your name or email address.
• Communication Information: If you contact us directly (e.g., via email or social media), we may collect your name, contact details, and the content of your message.
b. Automatically Collected Data
To improve and secure our Services, we collect certain non-personal data automatically:
• Device Information: Such as device type, operating system, browser version, and screen resolution.
• Log Data: Including IP address (anonymized where possible), session timestamps, feature usage, clicks, and error logs.
This data is used for performance monitoring, diagnostics, and product improvement. It is not used to track or identify individual users.
3. Use of Large Language Models (LLMs)
Oliver uses third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) to generate AI-powered leadership guidance. We take several steps to ensure responsible usage:
• All input to LLMs is anonymized before transmission.
• We do not share your Slack ID, email address, or identity with any LLM provider.
• While Oliver is grounded in a proprietary leadership knowledge base, LLM-generated responses may sometimes be incomplete or inaccurate. Please apply your own judgment before acting on suggestions.
4. Anonymized Input
The Oliver app relies on your input to generate coaching responses. To protect your privacy:
• Avoid entering sensitive or personally identifiable information into the app.
• Anonymize names, organizations, or private details if you’re unsure.
Note: During onboarding or when chatting with Oliver, avoid including sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, or legally protected information). While we take care to secure all data, Oliver is designed for leadership mentoring — not confidential HR or legal issues.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and analytics tools on our website to:
